Adhesives

We here at Tim’s Tiles stock a wide range of adhesives all year round, including standard, semi-rapid and rapid setaflex (C2, S1), the S2 adhesive Ultimate, and more.

Standard, Semi-Rapid and Rapid Set Setaflex – S1 flexible – Tilemaster

Comes in grey and white, both colours are usually in stock. All are suitable for heavy traffic areas, as well as underfloor heating and timber substrates.

The bucket life of each is as follows:

Standard Set – 3-4 hours, able to grout after approx. 24 hours

Semi-Rapid Set – 90-120 minutes, able to grout after approx. 6 hours

Rapid Set – 30-40 minutes, able to grout after approx. 3 hours

Ultimate – S2 flexible – Tilemaster

Comes in grey and white, both colours usually in stock. The Ultimate adhesive is formulated for all and any tiling needs, including plywood and chipboard overlay, floating floors and other difficult substrates.

Ultimate only comes in a rapid set, so therefore has a pot life of 30-40 minutes.

However, this does mean you can grout after 3 hours.

Anhyfix – S1 flexible – Gypsum Based – Tilemaster

Comes in white only, usually in stock. Anhyfix is 100% compatible with Gypsum based substrate and is developed for anhydrite/calcium sulphate screeds.

Anhyfix only comes in a rapid set, so therefore has a pot life of 30-40 minutes.

However, this does mean you can grout after 3 hours.

All other Tilemaster products can be ordered in, along with Kerakoll and Bostik products.

Other adhesives from other suppliers can be ordered in also, such as Mapei, BAL and Ardex.
